About Convergence

The problem

Emotional and spiritual damage have left all of us in a place of hopeless despair. Finding a way to cope with our inner struggles can be easy for some and much harder for others. At some point we all need help.

The solution

Convergence brings artists together to immerse you in healing content such as spoken word, music, short film, drawing, and animation. Through our podcasts we also bring stories, struggles, and thoughts of everyday people.

The vision

All content created by artists or Convergence will be filled with personal stories, messages/images of Christ, practical practices to cope with emotional/spiritual damage, and encouragement. Through these displays of art and voice we will walk with you through your struggles encouraging you to find the real lasting hope of Jesus. We believe this will help you strengthen or discover your faith in Jesus and lead you to more balanced personal health.

About Founder

I come from a broken household where I was abused physically and sexually for 11 years. I was burned alive in a gas explosion, have worked though loss, financial stress, marital issues, and social anxiety. In the midst of all these issues I sought counseling after hearing a pastor share his heart openly one Sunday morning. When faced with these memories and emotions it brought up questions and feelings, I had a difficult time coping with. One of the things that helped me through this difficult time was podcasts and music. As I listened to Christian men and women speaking or playing music, I slowly allowed God to speak to me. This changed my mind set and led me to trust God more with my emotions and life. As I continued to heal God began speaking to my heart to start Convergence. I noticed it was difficult to find good voices and music as most of these things were scattered all over the internet. Things were already very difficult, and I knew the same would be true for others. This is why I founded Convergence to offer these resources in one place to others like me. My deep-rooted prayer is that God moves in your heart as you listen to the podcasts and partake in all the resources Convergence makes available to you. I pray that you find healing and come to a place where you trust God in ways you never have before. Take things one moment at a time and always remember you are better in this moment than you were a moment ago. With much love and respect,
